Working Principle

After dissolving in ore pulp, xanthate releases active anions that stably bond with the surface of sulfide minerals, forming water-repellent hydrophobic films. This structural change allows valuable minerals to adhere to air bubbles and float upward as high-grade concentrates, while inert gangue minerals remain hydrophilic and settle in the pulp, achieving precise and high-efficiency ore separation.
